Healthy Treats for your K-9

Standard

$20.00 (hand delivery)  or $24.00 if I ship it to you.

Melaleuca ProCare by Oligo is one of the best things I have ever done for my dog!  And she loves it!  Instead of spending $40.00 or more at the Vet for pills to help with the Skin, Coat, Hips and Joints, give ProCare a try!  I like it so much, I now sell it!

ProCare Hip & Joint:

As your dog ages, the hips and joints can cause discomfort.  These soft chews deliver more of the nutrients, and antioxidants, and minerals your dog needs for a lifetime of better health.  Specially formulated with Replenex technology, each chew provides easily absorbable  glucosamine, chondroitin and a proprietary blend to optimize your dogs normal hip and joint function and comfort.

ProCare Skin & Coat:

In order for your dog to maintain a shiny healthy looking coat, he needs essential nutrients that must come from his diet.  ProCare Skin & Coat Treats help promote healthy skin and a sleek, lustrous coat by delivering critical vitamins, minerals, and  fatty acids.  These soft chews are formulated with Vitality Coldwater Omega~3 technology for a shiny coat, biotin and DHA to support optimal skin and coat quality, and a zinc and vitamins A, B2, and E for healthy skin and coat support.

Serving size is based on your dog’s weight.  1 treat for every 15 lbs.  Treats should supply no more than 10% of your dog’s daily energy need.  Feed to dogs over six months of age.

We notice a huge difference in Josie’s coat when using ProCare Skin & Coat.  She is so much softer and shinier now.  And as she has aged we noticed how much she slowed down and how hard it was for her to get up and even go up and down our stairs.  Not even a week into taking ProCare Hip & Joint treats, she was much faster, no hesitation when getting up.  She now runs down our stairs as if she was a puppy again.  Josie is my 11 year old Lab.  She has had a tumor removed, and about four months ago we were told she would not make it another month that her health was not good.  I began giving her ProCare and her health has been amazing ever since.  So glad I tried this product!  If you are interested, please don’t hesitate to email me or call me and place your order!

Apple Fritters

Standard
My husband really wanted donuts the other day at the store and I said “NO”.  I felt so bad as he got a little pouty.  So I was lucky enough to come across a blog that day from Seeminglygreek.  She had this wonderful recipe to share.  I made these wonderful Apple Fritters in no time with a minor variation that I’d like to share.  Oh yes…. my hubby was happy to get his donuts and enjoyed the Fritters very much!  So thank you Seemingygreek for the wonderful recipe!
Homemade Apple Fritters Recipe:
1 heaping cup All purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
dash salt
1 – 2 tsp. cinnamon (depending on how much you love cinnamon)
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 T butter, melted
1 egg
1/3 cup milk plus more if needed
1 – 1 1/2 cups chopped apple
Oil for Frying ( I was out of oil, so used Coconut oil and it worked fantastic and is better for you)
Milk and powdered sugar glaze for dipping or just powdered sugar for dusting
(about 1 cup powder sugar and 1 T milk or more)
Mix all ingredients together, slowly add the wet ingredients minus the apple.  Carefully mix until well combined but not overly beat, gently fold in apples pieces now.  The batter should be the consistency of a light cake mix.  Once the oil is ready, use a cookie scooper or soup spoon, place a few balls of dough into the oil.  Be careful not to overcrowd and watch carefully for the underside to turn golden brown, then gently flip over and continue frying until done.  I cooked mine about 45 seconds per side.  Adjust cooking times based on size of fritters and temperature of your oil.
Wonderful snack, breakfast or desert!!  Once in awhile it’s okay to indulge!  Your family won’t complain either!!
